Flux Pillar free apps
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to free applications published by Flux Pillar unless an app displays a more specific notice. Our default is to collect no personal data, or only the minimum needed to operate and improve an app.
1. Information an app may handle
Depending on the app and the features you choose, an app may handle:
- Content you provide. Text, files, settings, or other content needed for a feature. Wherever practical, this remains on your device.
- Basic technical information. App version, operating-system version, device type, language, and coarse performance or error information needed to diagnose reliability.
- Support communications. Your email address and the information you choose to send when you contact us.
- Limited usage measurements, if enabled. Some releases may collect aggregate events such as app launches or feature use. We do not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, or building marketing profiles. If an app enables analytics, that app or its store listing will say so.
2. Information we do not seek
Our free apps are not designed to collect precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, payment-card details, or sensitive personal data unless a clearly described feature requires it and you deliberately choose to use that feature. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising.
3. On-device storage and permissions
Settings and user-created content are normally stored locally on your device. Removing the app or using its reset or delete controls may remove that local information, subject to your operating system's backup behaviour. We request device permissions only when a feature needs them; you can deny or revoke permissions in system settings, although the related feature may then stop working.
4. When information leaves your device
Information may be sent to us or a service provider only when needed for a network feature, limited analytics or crash diagnosis disclosed by the app, or when you contact support. We use service providers only to operate, secure, distribute, or understand the reliability of the app. They may process information for us under their own security and legal obligations, but we do not permit them to use it for their own advertising.
5. Retention
On-device information remains until you delete it, reset the app, or remove the app, subject to device backups. Information received by us is retained only for as long as needed for the feature, security, support, legal obligations, or aggregated reliability analysis. Support messages are normally retained while the request is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
6. Disclosure
We may disclose information to infrastructure and support providers acting for us; when required by law or a valid legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Flux Pillar, or the public. If the app or its operation is transferred, relevant information may transfer with it, subject to this policy and applicable law.
7. Children
Our general-purpose free apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the limited information involved. No system is completely secure. Our providers or systems may process information in Singapore or other countries; where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers.
9. Your choices and rights
You can decline optional permissions, disable a feature, delete local app data, or uninstall the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal data we hold. Contact hello@coding.com.sg. We may need enough information to verify and complete the request.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as our apps or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and, for material changes, provide a reasonable notice in the app, its store listing, or this page.
App-specific controls prevail. If an app's in-app notice or store disclosure is more specific than this general policy, follow that notice for that app. Crewnook users should read the dedicated Crewnook Privacy Policy, which explains when content leaves the device.
