Website Privacy & Analytics Notice
This notice explains the limited information handled when you visit coding.com.sg or contact Flux Pillar through the site.
1. Information we handle
- Information you enter. The current website's brief helper and contact form operate as interface previews. The brief helper stores recent entries in your browser's local storage; neither interface sends its contents to Flux Pillar by itself. If you email us separately, we receive the contact details and message you choose to provide.
- Ordinary server logs. Our web infrastructure may temporarily log request time, requested path, response status, user agent, referring page, and IP address for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- Limited self-hosted analytics. We use our own Umami deployment to measure page views and basic visit information. When reachable, the browser script sends the page path without query strings or fragments, page title, referring page, screen size, browser language, and a site identifier. Umami may use network and browser information to distinguish visits and produce coarse location or device statistics. We do not enable advertising trackers or use these measurements to build advertising profiles.
- Externally hosted images. The current homepage loads two visual assets from Google's image-hosting infrastructure. Google consequently receives ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser user agent. We configure those image requests not to send the referring page.
2. Cookies and browser storage
Our current analytics script is designed to operate without advertising cookies. It can read a local opt-out flag and may receive a short-lived cache or session value from the analytics service. The inquiry helper uses local storage on your device. You can clear site data in your browser; enabling “Do Not Track” is respected by the analytics script.
3. Why we use information
We use this limited information to deliver and secure the site, respond to messages sent by email, understand aggregate page usage, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
4. Sharing and retention
Our infrastructure and analytics are self-hosted or operated by service providers acting for us. Google receives the limited image-request information described above under its own privacy terms. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our systems, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer. Server and analytics records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, operations, and aggregate reporting; contact messages are retained while the request is active and for a reasonable follow-up period.
5. Your choices and rights
You may block the analytics script or externally hosted images, enable Do Not Track, clear browser storage, or contact us by email. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal data we hold. Send requests to hello@coding.com.sg.
6. Security, international processing, and children
We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. Information may be processed in Singapore or other countries where our providers operate, with safeguards where required. This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
7. Changes
We may update this notice when the site or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes.
